DAY 1 : Leh Arrival

Itinerary:

DAY 1 – LEH ARRIVAL
Arrive at Leh Airport (11,500 ft).
Transfer to hotel for complete rest.
Acclimatization is key today. Evening Intro and Leh Market walk.
Overnight in Leh.

DAY 2 – ARYAN VALLEY – BLOSSOM
Post breakfast drive to the lower altitude Aryan Valley. Here, the “Chuli Mendok” (Apricot Blossom) starts early.
Witness the Drokpa tribe in their traditional floral finery.
Capture the white and pink contrast against the Indus river.
Overnight in Aryan Valley.

DAY 3 – SHAM VALLEY – BLOSSOM & BACK TO LEH
Drive back via Sham Valley. Visit Alchi Monastery and the Sangam Confluence.
The road is lined with budding apricottrees.
Overnight in Leh

DAY 4 – LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY
Conquer Khardung La (17,982 ft). Enter Nubra Valley. Evening visit to
Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes for a camel safari.
Overnight in Hunder.

DAY 5 – TURTUK – BLOSSOM FIELD
Drive to the edge of India. Turtuk is the apricot capital of the Himalayas. Walk through massive blossoming orchards that fill the valley with scent
and color. Experience Balti culture in the northernmost village of India.
Overnight in Turtuk or Hunder.

DAY 6 – PANGONG LAKE
Ride along the Shyok River. Arrive at the breathtaking Pangong Lake. Contrast the deep blue waters with the stark mountains.
Overnight in lakeside camps.

DAY 7 – BACK TO LEH
Cross Chang La Pass. Stop at Thiksey
Monastery (The Mini Potala). Evening
shopping for apricot jams and oils in Leh.
Overnight in Leh.

DAY 8 – DEPARTURE
Early morning transfer to Leh Airport. Fly
out with the colors of the blossom
etched in your memory.

6) In case, due to some unavoidable conditions (like natural disaster, change in government or local authorities policy etc)  the event gets cancelled before/on the event date or during trek, nominal Trek fees will be refunded depending on expenses which are already spent till that point.
